We invite applications for a postdoctoral fellowship on the development of computational tools to model large-scale collective dynamics in biophysical systems. We are looking for candidates with a background in computer physics or mathematics, a strong understanding of numerical mathematics and an interest in biophysics and/or active matter. Experience in physics simulator development, including modelling, system architecture, and parallelization for HPC. In addition, experience in core development software such as git, debugging, and profiling would be encouraged.

The postdoc's duties will include research within the field of Soft Matter. The post may also include the performance of other duties, including taking up a lead developer role (i.e., responsibility for a group-used simulator, overseeing code development within a research group, and organising technical tutorials within a group).
