About the Role The post-doctoral research fellow at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences will work on a project funded by the Tiny Blue Dot Foundation, focusing on the neural mechanisms underlying psychosis across different stages of illness. This role involves extensive use of brain imaging techniques such as OP-MEG and fMRI, as well as computational modelling, while engaging with individuals with schizophrenia and those at risk. The fellow will collaborate with leading researchers, oversee student projects, and contribute to data analysis and manuscript writing, all while upholding the School's values and policies.

Who We Are Looking For The successful candidate will have a strong background in computational modeling and brain imaging data analysis, particularly with M/EEG and MRI, alongside experience in working with Schizophrenia/Psychosis data, and demonstrated effective supervision of honours and PhD students. They will demonstrate high independence and flexibility in responding to changing priorities, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration, and show a desire to build a career in cognitive neuroscience.
