Applications are invited for appointment as Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:530171), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, statistics, biostatistics, public health, nursing, or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Those with post-qualification work experience in social sciences research projects and advanced knowledge in data analysis (e.g. SEM, MLM) are preferred. The appointee should have good understanding of social sciences research; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; and ability to work independently and as a team. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing and coordinating several ongoing research projects on health-related issues; and is expected to conduct independent scholarly research, draft academic articles, and grant proposals.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
