Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 529984), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in bioinformatics, virology, biological/biomedical sciences, animal sciences, or a related discipline with previous full-time work experience. They should have a sound track-record of publications in the related disciplines. They should also have effective communication skills, a strong interest in working closely with virologists and clinicians, be highly motivated, independent, and able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment. The appointee will be involved in research projects related to emerging viral pathogens under the supervision of Dr. Hin Chu.
