Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Ref.: 526123 )

Duties and Responsibilities

  • work on an R&D project related to medical communications, big data, and intelligent systems.
  • design/refine the clinical big data system and platform for medical data management, communication, and supporting machine learning.
  • grant application, project management, publish and present research findings.
  • perform other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements

  • a Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, information engineering, or a related discipline.
  • a proven track record of project and research experience in medical communication systems, medical informatization, and big data management, practical engineering experience is preferred.
  • proficiency in the DICOM communication protocol.
  • strong programming skills and high implementation efficiency.
  • good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • the ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines.
  • the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • self-motivated and responsible.

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
