Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 523927), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biological Sciences or a related discipline, with experience in mammalian cell culture (embryonic stem cells, skeletal cells), quantitative fluorescence microscopy, molecular and cell biology and mouse models. Some bioinformatics skills would be an advantage. They should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
The appointee will participate in research projects relating to gene regulatory networks underlying directed lineage differentiation of embryonic stem cells and models of human skeletal disorders.
