Our translational immunology lab focuses on the pathophysiology, prediction, and precision treatment of rheumatological diseases. The interdisciplinary team is lead by Prof CS Lau, and encompasses both clinical and basic scientists. We enhance our research with our vast patient biobank along with comprehensive multi-omics datasets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • conduct research by employing a multifaceted approach, combining bioinformatics and cell biology techniques to pinpoint the inflammatory and molecular signatures that govern disease flare and remission in distinct groups of systemic lupus erythematosus patients
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • Requirements

  • a Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related discipline
  • relevant working experience with techniques such as bioinformatics, flow cytometry, and molecular biology
  • an excellent command of written and spoken English
  • self-driven, critical, independent, and able to work well in a team

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
