Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (two posts) (Ref.: 530820), to commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis until 30 June 2026, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. degree, preferably in the field of Education or a related discipline. They should have an interest in AI in education with some technical knowledge and/or background in the area. Previous experience in one of the following areas, including assessment and feedback, curriculum design, e-learning, data analysis, and advanced statistical skills (e.g., multilevel modelling, structural equation modelling, latent profile analysis, etc.), will be an advantage, as will a strong publication record with internationally recognised journals.
The appointees will work with Professor Cecilia K. Y. Chan on her projects related to AI literacy and the integration of AI technologies into education. Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team. They should also have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, proficiency in academic writing, good troubleshooting skills, and effective collaboration skills, both as a leader and as part of a team. Applicants with a strong interest in AI in education, teaching and learning, assessment, and quantitative methodologies are most welcome to apply.
