Reuben College, founded in 2019, is seeking a full-time Porter/Lodge Receptionist to work the afternoon to evening shift. As part of the Porters Lodge, you'll be the face of Reuben College, ensuring a warm welcome to all who enter our doors. You will be joining a supportive community, contributing to the welfare and success of our students while helping to shape the college's future and traditions.

What You'll Do

  • Provide a professional and welcoming reception to students, staff, and visitors
  • Ensure the safety and security of our college community
  • Offer crucial support and guidance to our diverse student body
  • Manage day-to-day lodge operations with precision and care
  • Respond swiftly and calmly to emergencies and alarms
  • Assist with college events, contributing to our vibrant academic atmosphere

  • Working Hours

  • This is a permanent full-time post - 36.5 hour per week
  • You will work Monday to Friday, 2.40pm to 10pm, which may include bank holidays
