Applications are invited for a 4-year PhD studentship, working in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, supervised by Prof Robert Phipps. The project will develop new catalytic approaches to enantioselective radical reactions that utilise attractive non-covalent interactions. For recent articles from the Phipps group that provide background reading to this, see: Nature Chem., 2020, 12, 990 and J. Am. Chem. Soc., 2022, 144, 18195. For a recent paper demonstrating latest research findings in this area, see: Science 2024, 386, 42-49.
