To facilitate opportunities for students with disabilities and achieve the outcomes of the DREAM program, DREAM students will commit to the following: - Be a positive role model for students with disabilities - Be a positive representative of WSU, Disability Services, and DREAM - Demonstrate an ability to work with diverse populations - Facilitate effective one-on-one and small group activities - Facilitate and coordinate campus programs, workshops, and training sessions - Demonstrate professionalism, organization, excellent communication and listening skills, responsibility, accountability, integrity, and a desire to learn, grow and develop as a leader and team member - Perform leadership duties or employment tasks as assigned by Transition Coordinator and DREAM Director

All DREAM students will work under the supervision of Disability Services and will be required to attend and participate in training sessions, staff meetings, workshops, and similar activities throughout the year and will demonstrate a commitment to DREAM and department goals and expectations.

Required Qualifications

Completing the Certified Peer Educator Training prior to, or during, your first semester of mentoring Must have completed at least two (2) semester at WSU. Completed FAFSA. Microsoft Office knowledge Gmail experience

Preferred Qualifications

Work study preferred Experience working with diverse populations Experience mentoring and/or motivating others Experience coordinating programs and people participation Teamwork/Team-oriented Excellent communication skills (presenting/communicating information, actively listening, mediating, conflict management) Autonomous and proactive Organizational skills
