Part-time Research Assistant II (holding the functional title of Programme Assistant) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 525766) (from March 4, 2024 or as soon as possible to February 28, 2025)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Software Engineering or related disciplines. They should have at least three years of web development experience; proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React and Vue, as well as backend development with programming languages like Node.js, Go and Python, is required. In addition to excellent communication and organizational abilities, candidates should have the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate a robust portfolio showcasing their successful creation of public-facing web products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for projects involving developing various Web-based applications. They will support project leaders, assist the project manager, and coordinate with other team members to design, code, and troubleshoot Web interface appropriate for designated age groups while ensuring efficient data collection and system performance. In addition, they will help in data processing, perform testing, maintain proper documentation, and draft progress reports.
