Duties and Responsibilities
big data and simulation modeling development in health services and web
development
assisting with the application and validation of electronic medical
record-based cohort study methodologies
conducting data manipulation and visualization, preparing scientific
publications, grant proposals, and reports, and providing general
administrative and operational support
The posts provide an excellent training opportunity for those who are

Requirements
Part-time Research Assistants should hold a Bachelor's degree or higher,
ideally in fields such as epidemiology, biostatistics, public health,
statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related areas
Current undergraduate or postgraduate students with a background in
computer science, applied artificial intelligence, decision analytics,
epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or similar fields.
A strong understanding of machine learning, AI applications, and
quantitative skills in healthcare and policy research is highly valued
Experience in statistical analysis and proficiency in statistical and
computer modeling software (e.g., R, Python, Matlab, SAS, C++) is
advantageous
good communication and interpersonal skills
responsible, organized, patient, and attentive to details
What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary part-time
basis for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory
performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate
with qualifications and experience will be offered.
