Position Description:	Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Support activities during Parkridge Center’s After School and Summer Programs. Provide support in the delivery of student-centered classes, workshops and activities. Perform routine duties such as: classroom set up, front desk support and room preparation, monitor supply levels; and cleaning. Assist center management with basic data entry for reporting i.e., programming, finances, metrics Assist in providing a high level of customer service to a diverse customer base through information sharing, instruction and assistance. Demonstrate ability to work in a safe, diverse, kid friendly atmosphere with strong attention to detail while being able to provide face-to-face, telephone and email assistance to students and their families. Attend staff meetings, department meetings and trainings assigned by the college and appropriate leadership. Utilize technology, including AI-enabled tools and software where appropriate, to support the effective performance of assigned duties, enhance productivity, improve communication and information management, support decision-making, and other responsibilities, while ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements, institutional policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of College Career Readiness Hours/Schedule: This is a part time position that will not exceed 20 hours per week. The schedule may include mornings and afternoons between 9am and 9pm Monday – Friday and some Saturdays, depending on the needs of the office Work Environment: Off-campus at the Parkridge Community Center.
Minimum Qualifications:	Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school graduate or GED equivalent plus College level course work. Excellent customer service/telephone skills. Demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse patrons of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and backgrounds. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills to deal effectively with various college and community publics. Ability to work mornings and afternoons between 9am and 9pm Monday -Saturday. Ability to use workplace technology relevant to the position, including the capacity to learn and appropriately leverage emerging AI-supported tools. Ability to assess the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated content, maintain confidentiality, and apply sound judgment and ethical practices in the use of technology.
