Applications are invited for appointment as Part-time Lecturer (holding the title of Diversity Management Trainer) (several posts) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 524079), to commence as soon as possible to August 31, 2024.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Education, Social Worker, Social Science, Language or a related discipline, with at least 3 years' full-time work experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with universities, social welfare, cross-institutional projects, local schools and teachers, parent education or project dissemination. They should have good communication and interpersonal skills, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and the ability to conduct workshops or mini-talks for schools and parents. Familiarity with educational concepts like “catering for diversity”, “diversity management”, “parent education” and/or “home-school co-operation” would be an advantage.

The appointees will work for the Second Phase of the Jockey Club “Diversity at Schools” project with a focus on Diversity Management under the Faculty of Education. They will be responsible for conducting school-based workshops for parents/schools, with the aim to enhance related-stakeholders' understanding of “catering for diversity” and “diversity management”. They are also expected to collaborate closely with the project team and be able to deliver workshops during school days, possibly on weekends and school holidays.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
