We are seeking a part-time HR Administrator to join our friendly team, to provide professional administrative HR services for staff based in the Institute, who are administered by the core WIMM Administration Team.

This is an excellent opportunity to support some of the world's leading scientists in a varied role, whilst providing an excellent development opportunity to progress in the field of Human Resources within the University. You will provide generalist HR administration, with a focus to actively manage the paperwork process for new starters and visitors, recruitment processes including placing advertisements, generating letters to applicants, preparing short listing packs, interview arrangements and onboarding.

You will be educated to A level standard with GCSE (grade A-C) level English and Maths, or equivalent with a very good standard of oral and written communication. An up-to-date knowledge of employment law essentials, including Right to Work in the UK and visa routes is essential. You will also have the ability to organise and prioritise workload and produce accurate, detailed work within deadlines. Experience of working with electronic HR reporting and HRIS systems such as People XD is desirable.

The post is part-time 0.5 FTE (18.25 hours per week) and available immediately. After an initial period of 2-3 months working on-site, the successful candidate will have the option of some hybrid working in the role, although flexibility for operational requirements would be expected.

Applications for this vacancy are to be made online. You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your online application. The supporting statement must explain how you meet each of the selection criteria for the post using examples of your skills and experience. This may include experience gained in employment, education, or during career breaks (such as time out to care for dependents).
