Part-time Certificated Dental Surgery Assistant II/Dental Clinic Assistant (at the rank of Facilities Assistant) in the Division of Periodontology & Implant Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry (Ref: 530176) (to commence as soon as possible, on one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
For appointment as Certificated Dental Surgery Assistant II : Applicants should have a Certificate of Proficiency in Dental Surgery Assisting issued by a recognised institute or equivalent, AND 5 passes in HKCEE, or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Recent graduates of Diploma in Dental Surgery Assisting are welcome to apply. He/She will gain excellent practical experience from this post.
For appointment as Dental Clinic Assistant (at the rank of Facilities Assistant) , applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, with at least 1 year's work experience in a dental clinic including chairside assisting.
The appointee will assist in the clinical research projects under the Division and duties include assisting the operators in the non-surgical and surgical treatment of patients; managing patient appointments, administration, supplies and general cleanliness associated with clinics; data entry and management; and perform other duties as assigned. They should have good interpersonal and communication skills; a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; and a hard-working attitude.
