The Outdoor Program Marketing Specialist will work solely on marketing and graphic design projects for the Weber State Outdoor Program, a program area of the Campus Recreation Department. The position will be assigned tasks by the Outdoor Program Coordinator and Assistant Coordinators, but will report to and be supervised primarily by the Campus Recreation Marketing and Operations Coordinator.

Required Qualifications

Be a current Weber State University Student.

Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite programs. Have the ability to meet deadlines for projects. Meet all necessary requirements for the 50/50 program including maintaining a GPA of 2.0, attending two training's per year, and completing an on-line entrance and exit survey.

Develop marketing themes for semester trips.

Improve the brand of the Outdoor Program.

Update and design Outdoor Program handouts.

Assist with the Marketing of the Ogden Climbing Festival.

Improve the visual signage of the Rental Center.

Read, understand, and abide by all employee policies and procedures as stated in the Outdoor Program employee policy and procedures manual.

Perform other duties as specified by the Outdoor Program Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator and/or Rental Manager, and Marketing and Operations Coordinator.

Be knowledgeable of Campus Recreation programs and services so that you can be an advocate of Campus Recreation.
