We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration of the AMIIC unit and ensure the smooth running of the various processes. The Acute Multidisciplinary Imaging and Interventional Centre (AMIIC) is an internationally unique centre which includes a hybrid unit combining a state of the art, photon-counting CT scanner integrated with an interventional lab.

You will coordinate the IT services, the core laboratory and research activities as well as assisting with the coordination of the clinical activities and will be responsible for the financial management of the Centre. This post is an exciting opportunity to work in a leadership role for a world leading research centre.

You will have primary responsibility for providing a high level of support to the Director of AMIIC and the Centre's staff. Responsibilities include, maintaining an ongoing strategic review of the operational requirements of the Centre, keeping the Director fully briefed so as to effectively represent and promote the vision of the Centre and assisting the Departmental Business Manager in preparing budgets and forecasts for AMIIC, with knowledge of future commitments.

You are required to be educated to degree level or equivalent experience and have a track record of project co-ordination including large scale events involving senior managerial or directorial participants. Experience of administrative work in a university, ideally with an NHS context would be desirable.

This is a full time appointment on a fixed term contract for 3 years funded by the BRC and you will be based at the Acute Multidisciplinary Imaging and Interventional Centre (AMIIC), John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, OX3 9DU
