4 x fixed-term contracts until 29 September 2024

Summary of the role/position

These fantastic opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic sport-minded professionals to join our team as an Operations Assistant at the University of Exeter Sports Office.

This position will be based at St Luke's Sports Centre and Cornwall House Swimming Pool (seasonally), but with an expectation to work at the Sports Park (Streatham Campus) when required. Therefore, an NPLQ and/or Level 2 Gym qualification would be desirable (but not essential) for this role.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for the efficient, safe operation of the three sites and for delivering high standards of service across all facilities. This will include lifeguarding (where qualified), set ups and take downs of all equipment, supervising the gyms and maintaining cleanliness of all facilities.

Experience of working in a similar environment and dealing with a varied cross-section of customers is desirable along with an awareness of health and safety issues.

A proactive approach, an eye for detail and a team-minded attitude with a desire to succeed is of equal importance.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
