This role will be based on the main campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you experienced in supporting world-class researchers? Do you have in- depth knowledge of open research throughout all stages of the research lifecycle? Are you a strong team player and communicator, flexible and committed to delivering exceptional customer service?

The University of Leeds is one of the top 75 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.

We are looking for a professional and proactive individual to join us to promote and embed open research across campus. You will take the lead on communicating the benefits of, and enabling open research practices across all disciplines at the University of Leeds. You will coordinate the UK Reproducibility Network's (UKRN) Open Research Programme at the University of Leeds and you will work in close (online) collaboration with UKRN colleagues at the University of Bristol, to accelerate uptake of open research practices. You will make a significant contribution to the University of Leeds Research Culture strategy by supporting colleagues across Faculties and Professional Services, in ways that are appropriate to their discipline, to work openly and with the highest standards of integrity, whilst maximising the reach of our research.

As the Open Research Advisor you will be part of the Library Research Services Section and you will work closely with colleagues from across the section, and wider institution.
