About the Role

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of IT projects and initiatives. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and IT leaders to facilitate the people-side of change, drive user adoption, and maximize project benefits. The OCM Analyst will leverage their experience and knowledge of postsecondary institutions to assess the business readiness for implementing proposed changes and develop tailored solutions to enhance the organization's ability to adapt to technological and process changes.

Responsibilities
  • Change Impact Analysis: Assess the potential impacts of IT changes on business processes, systems, and employees.
  • Change Strategy Development: Develop and implement OCM strategies and plans that address the unique needs of each project.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, manage resistance, and build coalitions to support change initiatives.
  • Communications Planning: Develop and execute communication plans that effectively inform and engage employees throughout the change process.
  • Training Development: Assess training needs, design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and provide ongoing support to ensure sustained adoption.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a project environment working with stakeholders and external vendors and be familiar with project management approaches, tools, and lifecycles

  • Possess OCM accreditation/certification in industry-recognized change methodology or equivalent training and experience (or be willing to complete within 6 months)

  • Experience with Google Workplace applications

  • The capacity to work efficiently in a team environment or independently

  • Ability to translate complex ideas into everyday language.

  • Experience in writing communication copy across multiple media for varying audiences

  • Ability to juggle – taking feedback from multiple sources and resolve issues independently

  • Positive, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Organized and structured thinker who cares about the audience

  • Resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables

  • Comfortable expressing a point of view and taking risk

    Salary: $82,916.00 - $104,856.00 per annum
