Occupational Health Adviser

Grade 7 £38,249 to £45,413 pro rata

Part-time, 21 hours/3 days per week – alternative hours up to full-time considered; hybrid working available

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Adviser to be at the heart of the Abertay community, to provide comprehensive occupational health (OH) services and wider promotion of health and wellbeing for Abertay University staff.

Reporting directly to the Director of People and Organisational Development, you will lead, manage and deliver the University's OH service, ensuring compliance with responsibilities imposed by health and safety and employment legislation as well as pro-actively responding to staff and organisational needs, to maximise the health and wellbeing of all employees.

You will have a high degree of autonomy within a wider People Services team which is committed to fostering a healthy, safe and supportive working environment, to enable our staff to thrive and achieve their full potential.

You will be a RGN with, or close to completing, a specialist OH qualification. You will have high-level expertise in applying independent professional responsibility and discretion as an OH specialist. You will be experienced in providing OH advice and guidance to staff at all levels and have excellent communication and influencing skills.
