  • Learning and Development: We are committed to your growth, and you will receive real encouragement for your continual personal development. Benefit from a financed training program, access to the latest tools and technologies and continual support to achieve industry recognised qualifications.
  • Innovative Environment: UEL thrives on innovation. You'll be working in an environment that encourages creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to solve complex networking challenges.
  • What You Will Do…

  • Engage in training and exams to ensure your knowledge remains current and apply it to the benefit of the University's staff and students.
  • Work collaboratively across IT Services and the wider University on service improvements, whilst working towards defined network architectures
  • Be able to translate the requirements of colleagues into deliverables and align them with the ongoing development activities.
  • Ensure onsite networking spaces are fit for purpose and maintained accordingly.
  • Take ownership of appropriate issues escalated, with regards to UEL's network solutions, and see them through to successful resolution.
  • Who We Are Looking For…

  • A passionate individual with a keen interest in networking and technology.
  • A self-motivated learner, keen for continuous self-improvement and aspirations to achieve a recognised industry qualification, ideally within your first 6 months.
  • An affinity for working with technology, but we are looking for potential and enthusiasm over hands on experience!
  • Competence in problem solving issues and seeing through to resolution.
  • A proactive and analytical demeanour to identify and resolve network- related issues efficiently and effectively.
