Nanook Recreation and the Student Recreation Center is looking for dependable temporary employees to join our staff. Knowledge of UAF, Nanook Recreation and the SRC is helpful, but not necessary. Nanook Recreation has a variety of positions throughout the year that are needed to support our programs. They include assisting with Outdoor Adventures, the ice rink and fitness instructors and other programs.
Duties:40Outdoor Adventures: Assist with tripping program as a lead or assistant field instructor. Staff the office for rental operations. Support the climbing wall during route setting and/or belay classes. Support special events and help with program development.Essential
60Group fitness: Teach specialized Group Fitness classes on a regular basis. Certification and experience required.Essential

Salary Information:
This is a part-time, temporary position. Starting wage is $12.00 an hour or dependent on experience.
