Your role
The position is responsible for producing multimedia products for a range of platforms including but not limited to RMIT Vietnam communication channels, staff intranet, newsletters and social media sites.
Report to Content and Campaigns Manager
Key Accountabilities
Use your knowledge of software programs like Premiere Pro, AVID, After Effects, Canva and Photoshop to produce multimedia products for RMIT communication channels, intranet, electronic newsletters, email communications and social media channels. These may include but are not limited to video, photography, interactive graphics, audio materials, and slideshows.
Draft and present production briefs, storyboards, and scripting.
Responsible for end-to-end production process from creative conception, planning, pre-production, video shooting and post-production.
Collaborate and brainstorm with team members and stakeholders across the university to develop video content ideas.
Liaise with stakeholders to manage production.
Ensure all video content is accessible and captioned
Attend University events and participate in communications projects as a photographer and videographer
Perform other duties as required by the Content & Campaigns Manager
Key Selection Criteria
A discipline-relevant tertiary degree (eg. Digital Media, Design)
Strong skills with Final cut pro, Adobe After Affects, Canva and Indesign.
3-years of experience as visual storyteller in Multimedia production.
A portfolio of multimedia work containing items produced solely by the applicant (or where the applicant was the leader of the production team) that evidences a high level of ability to apply design and multimedia production skills to satisfy communications needs.
Skills: Photography skills, including photo editing. Videography skills, including video shooting and video editing.
Excellent storytelling skills and a creative vision
Ability to articulate creative ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work independently, liaise with stakeholders and show initiative.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
Strong demonstrated ability to perform routine tasks with a high degree of accuracy and careful attention to detail.
Awareness of international copyright.
Experience taking briefs and working with stakeholders on production projects.
A key understanding of digital content and digital trends is highly desired.
Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Values

English Proficiency
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.0 (or equivalent Linguaskill 160).
