The Team
The Exam Operations and Mitigating Circumstances team sit within the Student Administration section of Education Services, supporting the academic purposes of the University, and provides expert administrative support and advice to the University and Colleges relating to operational delivery of exams and reasonable adjustments for undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses. It also manages the administration of mitigating circumstances and allowances for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside our established Mitigating Circumstances Coordinator in the Mitigating Circumstances team for two-years fixed term. The existing Coordinator will be seconded on a 0.5fte basis to an exciting new project within the exam team and will be working alongside the successful candidate. The role is responsible for delivering the administration for examination allowances and adjustments for students by ensuring that applications for examination access arrangements (reasonable adjustments), including adjusted modes of assessment and supporting the examination allowance process for postgraduate students are processed.

The Exams team is part of the Student Administration Service within Education Services and exceptionally, you may be required to work on other tasks within Education Services if there is a change in priorities.
