Outline
The purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage the recruitment of students in the Flexible First year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) of high potential to transfer to the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mining Engineering.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
  • Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or a New Zealand Citizen, and
  • Be currently enrolled as a Flexible First year student within the Faculty of Engineering, and
  • Be transferring to full-time undergraduate study (single or double) in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mining Engineering in Term 2, 2024.

Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
  • Academic merit
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of mining Engineering
