In the position of Media Production Coordinator, you will lead and manage media production services, facilities and equipment for the Business School and work collaboratively with academic and professional staff to produce high- quality, strategically aligned media assets for learning and research.
You will be part of the Learning Design Team within the UQ Business School.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage the Business School's production facilities, equipment, loan equipment, and advise on procurement of media equipment.
Develop, document, and maintain workflows to create high-quality, strategically aligned media assets, adapting to stakeholder needs.
Lead media production projects from initiation to completion, overseeing scoping, production, post-production, and project closure for studio and field environments.
Promote the media production service, prioritize projects, and provide specialized guidance to project contributors.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and complete media projects, while supervising and developing production staff.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in film, tv or related disciplines, combination of a diploma with significant relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
Experience in media production including planning, shooting, editing, and post-production for learning and information sharing.
Proficient in the use of presentation software such as PowerPoint and experience in the design of visuals for learning and knowledge sharing, such as backgrounds, slides, animations or infographics.
Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular Premiere Pro CC.
Experience in the management of equipment and facilities used for media production.
Sound organisational and time management skills, including the ability to design and develop media workflows, exercise initiative, prioritise workloads and work independently.
Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc.
