About the role
Media and Communication Technologist is looking for additional support to help maintain the studio's open hours and assist MCO students, faculty, and staff with any questions they may have about borrowing/using the available equipment for related coursework.
The educational mission of Studio 148 is to advance students' multimedia skills, including recording audio and visual projects such as ads, podcasts, interviews, photographs, green screen, and video and the Studio Aide will be a vital part of making this happen. The Media and Communication courses listed below integrate use of the Studio into their curriculum:
The following MCO student organizations use Studio 148 for some of their activities, including Career Building Day:
MCO Majors and Minors in their Junior or Senior Year are preferred, but this is not to say that students studying in other fields should not apply. If there is at least some overlap in what this role requires and the students current knowledge, special interests, or skills acquired it could be a great fit.
All applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at SSU for the 2026/2027 Academic Year and must be awarded Work Study funds through Financial Aid to be eligible for hire.
If you are interested in applying for this position or want to know more about it please email Danielle Crogan ([email protected]). Please also be sure to include a link to this Job Listing, the Job Title, and an updated copy of your resume (if you have one). Thank you!
