    You are an experienced marketing and communications professional, with project management skills. An adaptable and engaging leader with experience building strong relationships at all seniority levels, you are comfortable working in, and collaborating with, cross functional and diverse teams. You are an outcome driven and collaborative team player who can successfully influence stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, you will lead strategic marketing and communications projects and provide high level, well researched strategic advice and reports. You will also provide expert project management to the Communications & Marketing Unit and play a leadership role in ensuring strategic alignment of work in the Communications & Marketing Unit, including facilitating resource allocation.

    About the Communications and Marketing Unit (CMK)

    The Communications and Marketing Unit's (CMK) role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance the understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities; internally, externally and internationally among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. CMK plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution's brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing strategic marketing projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to conduct research and analyse information to make strategic project recommendations
  • Highly developed oral and written skills including the demonstrated ability to successfully interact with senior stakeholders both within and external to the organisation
