  • Position Summary:

    We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing marketing projects and providing support in planning and executing various events. The ideal candidate is a multitasker with strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating impactful marketing campaigns and successful events.

    Duties:

    100Project Management: Monitor project plans, timelines, and placements for various marketing initiatives. work with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed effectively and efficiently. Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Collaborate with team members to define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics. Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with company goals and objectives. Contribute creative ideas for campaign concepts, messaging, and promotional materials. Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Communication and Coordination: Maintain clear communication channels with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Ensure consistent and accurate messaging across all marketing materials and event communications. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, timelines, status reports, and post-event evaluations. Provide regular updates to team leads and stakeholders on project status and event progress.Essential

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: -Currently enrolled as a student at UAF -Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. -Effective communication and interpersonal skills. -Proficiency in project management tools and software. -Creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving. -Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, as required by event schedules.

    Preferred Experience & Education:

    Required Experience & Education:

    Be enrolled at UAF with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or

    Have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters; and

    Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA, or a newly enrolled student.

    Salary Information:

    Student Assistant position with a starting pay of $15.26/hr
