Position Summary Information
Objective
The Manager and Title IX Investigator is a district-wide position responsible for assisting the Dean and Title IX Coordinator with managing and implementing all Title IX compliance strategies, actions, and programs. As an investigator, this role will act as an impartial and unbiased factfinder to conduct and manage sex-based discrimination investigations and assist in resolving misconduct as defined under the college's sexual misconduct policy. This position will conduct training and presentations for the broader campus community.
Required Quals Summary
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Counseling Education, or Student Affairs with three (3) years of directly related experience, or bachelor's degree with five (5) years of directly related experience.

Position DetailsPrincipal Accountabilities
Principal Accountabilities
Serves as a Title IX Investigator and helps to ensure timely resolution of assigned reports of sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking involving members of the college system.
Principal Accountabilities
Creates comprehensive investigation plans, conducts interviews, and communicates with parties while protecting the investigation's independence, neutrality, integrity, and privacy. Gathers and reviews pertinent documentation, analyzes evidence, writes comprehensive investigation reports, and keeps accurate records and notes of the investigation process.
Principal Accountabilities
Assists the Title IX Coordinator with the college's Title IX compliance efforts, including development, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate disclosures, policies, procedures, and practices designed to comply with federal and state legislation, regulation, and case law requiring the prompt and equitable resolution of Title IX complaints.

Assists the Title IX Coordinator in preparing and delivering awareness, education, and prevention training and activities to members of the university community and system administration.

Assists the Title IX Coordinator with delivering and continuously developing training and risk reduction efforts for students (student organizations, student governments, and advisors, including orientation) and faculty and staff.
