  • About This Opportunity

    This position manages and coordinates Enrolment and ESOS compliance processes, providing information and advice in line with University policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    Operational Management

  • Oversee student enrolment requests, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with regulations.

  • Provide authoritative guidance on enrolment policies and procedures to students and university staff.

  • Decision making

  • Be the final say on student Removal of Course requests, ensuring fair, timely, and compliant decisions based on university policies and regulations.
  • Strategic Management and Planning

  • Continuously analyse and improve the section's processes by identifying opportunities for digitization, automation, and performance improvement through key indicator development.
  • Human Resource Management

  • Provide effective leadership, supervision, and staff development for the Student Enrolments team, managing resources and ensuring efficient workload distribution to optimize team performance.
  • About You
  • Qualification and/or equivalent experience and demonstrate extensive management and organizational skills. Possess proven ability to lead and develop staff in a high-pressure environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of making sound judgements under tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying regulations and university policies.

  • Exhibit excellent written and communication skills, adept at producing clear reports and effectively liaising with stakeholders. Demonstrate high digital literacy with expertise in using enterprise systems (experience with PeopleSoft and Business Objects a plus).

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the university structure and policies, particularly enrolment and ESOS compliance (or a strong ability to learn quickly).

  • You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
