Manager, Career Development & Training (TPG) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 531071) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract- end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of full- time work experience, preferably in corporate business development, relationship management, talent acquisition, or a related field. We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter with a proactive work attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. The successful candidate should be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership. They should have in-depth knowledge of the job market in Hong Kong, along with a strong network of industry connections. They should be passionate about assisting students in their career strategy, capable of introducing job opportunities, and adept at business development to bring new internship and full-time job prospects to our students. Given the fast-paced nature of the role and the need to engage with numerous internal and external stakeholders, a sense of urgency is essential for success. A passion for talent development and a commitment to supporting others' growth are highly valued. Proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement, with proficiency in Chinese considered an advantage. Additionally, knowledge of the China market is preferred.
The appointee will work at the Faculty's Cyberport campus to support the Career Development and Training Services of Taught Postgraduate (TPg) programmes which include engaging with recruiting partners in different industry sectors to identify their hiring needs, collaborating with corporate partners to organize customized events such as company forums, leadership discussions, career fairs, and international career treks. You will also be responsible for managing career resources, overseeing the logistics and administration of mentorship programs, coaching sessions, workshops, and other project-related tasks.
