Manager/Assistant Manager, Finance (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 525721) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a recognised degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with at least 5 year's relevant work experience preferably in the higher education sector of a related field. They should have a good command of English and Chinese; strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; computer literacy; and the ability to multitask under pressure and work independently as well as in a team. They should also be mature, detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. Applicants with less experience may be considered as Executive Officer.
The appointee will be responsible for assisting in financial matters of the Faculty's offshore centres located in Israel, Vietnam and other countries, including preparation of timely regular and ad-hoc financial reports as well as financial forecasts and projections, and participation in resource planning and management. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
