Manager/Assistant Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 531111) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years' work experience, preferably in the higher education sector or a related field. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese is essential, along with strong multitasking abilities, high-level organizational and problem-solving skills, an appropriate level of IT proficiency, and the ability to work well in a team as well as independently with a proactive work attitude. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Manager.

The appointee will play a vital role in supporting the Faculty's staff development and wellness programmes, as well as talent acquisition endeavours. Working as a team, the appointee will be responsible for planning and implementing “People First” initiatives and activities, aiming at enhancing the work environment, facilities, staff development, and overall well-being of colleagues. He/She will also contribute to the strategic recruitment of professoriate staff, which includes development of a talent database and coordination of overseas outreach activities. Opportunities for overseas exposure are available.
