  • Starting Salary: $108,351 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
  • About the Role

    Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, you will be responsible for a suite of internal business services which enable the University's core advancement functions of Alumni Relations and Fundraising. You will manage the Advancement Operations team and be the first point of contact within the University for Advancement Operations enquiries, and be responsible for all Advancement analysis and reporting, systems and business intelligence.

    Advancement Operations encompasses the programs and services which enable a systematic approach to be taken to Alumni Relations and Fundraising. These include the management of the University's alumni and supporter database (and its associated complex processes), prospective donor research and management, as well as gift receipting and related financial operations.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive experience in business, marketing, public relations, communications or a related discipline or equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience
  • High level planning and management skills and proven ability to lead teams and engage with senior executives in developing and implementing strategy
  • High level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including strong representational skills and the ability to relate to a broad cross- section of people inside and outside the University, at various levels, and from different cultures
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of the implementation and operational management of Advancement Data services, CRMs, marketing automation systems or equivalent systems, programs and services
  • Extensive experience in the management of technology projects, including the ability to develop, implement and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures, processes and systems that enhance service delivery and support best practices
  • Highly analytical nature with attention to detail and sound reporting abilities. Experience in using data analytics and producing well rounded interpretation and recommendations
