Maintenance Contracts Manager & SAP (Electrical Safety)

Do you have experience of effectively working with and managing maintenance contracts? Are you able to influence and negotiate to ensure maintenance activities meet high quality standards of delivery? Would you like to contribute to ensuring the University of Leeds Estate is fully compliance and a safe place to study, work and live?

You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical leadership of a team of trade staff, acting as a key customer contact for a large diverse portfolio of the University's buildings. You will also be responsible for the management of specialist contractors and their compliance with the University's safe system of work (SSOW). You will lead, manage in coordinate the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works, delivering compliance and ensuring that the highest standards of quality and safety are met.

You will be experienced in working with and through others to achieve high quality standards of maintenance within a large or complex environment. You will have the ability to work pragmatically to ensure that planned and reactive maintenance activities are delivered on time, cost and quality. You will have previous experience of working within a SSOW and understand the importance of appointing staff to designed roles.
