You will join the Structural Composite Unit and the Design and Manufacturing of Advanced Composite (DMAC) research group of Materials Research and Technology (MRT) department. The DMAC research group combines expertise in computational performance evaluation, design and performance optimization, and sustainable manufacturing.

How will you contribute?Join the DMAC research team with this exciting position at the intersection between material science, engineering of and computer science. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in developing data templates, modelling workflows, and tools for the generation of Digital Product Passports (DPPs).
This challenging role involves collaboration with many research consortium partners in Europe, focusing on developing circular by design principles and tools. Your responsibilities will extend to exploring implementation possibilities for material modelling workflows. Engage in the validation and testing of proposed solutions through pilot projects, and actively collaborate with stakeholders such as material companies, standardization bodies, consultants, and other industry partners to promote the adoption of the developed data templates and tools.
This multifaceted position also entails active participation in research activities, including the opportunity to publish scientific papers and present findings at conferences and workshops. This role is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the intersection of technology, materials manufacturing, and sustainability.
Your activities will include:
· Hands on development, coding and debugging.
· Develops high-quality deliverables across multiple Horizon Project projects and provides consultative guidance on project assignments.
· Integrate and maintain moderately complex to extremely complex applications throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
