    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an LPN atDuke Cardiology of Raleigh , located in Raleigh, NC to serve as an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients.

    JOB DUTIES:

  • Support heart monitoring process in clinic including enrollment, patient education, monitor placement, on base/interface errors, monitor download and billing.
  • Perform intake with patients to include vital signs, visit information and other clinical information as indicated based on patients' assessment and clinic staffing needs.
  • Handle prescription refills according to protocols.
  • Managing and performing PT/INR's & EKGs as needed.
  • Clinical resource for all Unlicensed Assistive Personnel.Participates in performance improvement projects and/or acts as a liaison in various clinic related projects.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

    • Job Eligibility Requirements:

  • North Carolina or Multistate LPN License Required. NCBON must be notified within 60 days if using a multistate license.
  • BLS required
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • Must be present on site for 8 hour shifts during standard business hours.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to push/pull 250 lbs.
  • Must be able to carry 25 lbs.

    • Job Hours: The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
