Salary: Grade 6 (£30,487 - £36,024 p.a. depending on experience)
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
The Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence (LITE) aims to establish Leeds as an international leader in student education among research-intensive institutions, building on our well-established tradition of teaching excellence. As a centre of excellence at institutional level, the institute plays a key role in inspiring, rewarding and supporting innovative and evidence-based programme development and pedagogical practice, and in nurturing Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in student education. The institute facilitates both a virtual community and a physical learning community with a distinctive, outward-facing online presence and a programme of university and externally facing dissemination events.
The post holder will work as a member of the LITE team in a pivotal role supporting a range of activities related to the mission of the institute. They will have creative freedom while supporting and showcasing the work of LITE and research findings produced through LITE. Working with limited supervision, the post holder will have an ability to balance priorities and succeed through co-operation with others.
The post holder will possess the experience, confidence and interpersonal skills to be able to work with a wide range of staff across all areas of the institution and will be required to work with and to support staff at all levels of the University.
