Physical Requirements

Ability to lift items above head, bend down, and push a book cart weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to sit for long duration.

Shift

10-20 hours/week. Fall/Spring Semesters: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-8:00pm, Friday 7:45am-4:30pm. No weekends. Summer/Breaks: Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:30pm. No weekends.

Job Summary

Public service duties: face-to-face interactions, answering the phones, email communications, helping patrons find information and resources needed for class assignments or research, checking in/out library materials, shelving books, and staff support. All training is provided.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Prior Microsoft Office experience is helpful, but not required. Great communication skills, written and verbal.
