This is a full-time, fixed term position through to December 2025 with salary in the range $74,534 - $79,026 (HEW 4), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.
Provide front line library and information services to students and staff.

Based at our St Lucia campus.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional service to UQ's students and academics as part of the Learning Resources team. You will be supporting the student experience, teaching and learning at UQ by ensuring access to learning resources using the University's reading list system. The Learning Resources team works with teaching staff to assist with copyright management and access to resources from online and print sources. You will also be working across various teams within the Library, adapting to changing service demands.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support the work of teaching staff in delivery of learning resources
Provide information and advice to students and staff.
Assess client needs and provide appropriate solutions or referrals.
Assist with the development and maintenance of library documentation and reports.
Support team members, including training and workflow coordination. Resolve routine and non-routine issues.
Contribute to the improvement of library systems, processes, and procedures.
Participate in change initiatives and seek opportunities for professional development.

About YouExperience in service delivery and improvement, with a focus on technology and compliance.
Demonstrated competence in various software applications and systems, including library management systems. Ability to accurately and efficiently complete tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
