About the role
We are looking for a motivated Library Assistant to join our Reader Services Team.
This is your chance to be part of modern, successful customer focused library service. Joining us, you'll get the opportunity to learn new skills, explore your interests, and get involved in exciting new projects.
With people at the heart of everything we do, as a Reader Services Library Assistant, you will be part of the team that deliver front line services and provide outstanding customer experiences at the library. You will help people to discover our wide range of resources and services and support all our visitors to get the most out of their library visit.
The working hours for this post are:
Monday 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
Tuesday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
About the candidate
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic person to fill this varied and exciting role. The post will suit an adaptable individual who has a real interest in people and enjoys a busy working environment.
You'll ideally have some library knowledge and experience, but it'll be your enthusiasm for helping others and devotion to customer care that makes you really stand out.
