Do you have the ambition to work in a research-intensive Russell Group University? Are you also passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience?
The University of Leeds is one of the top 75 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.
The School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) at the University of Leeds is looking to appoint a researcher with expertise in the global politics of China and/or China's international relations. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with thematic specialisms that will complement the School's existing strengths in areas such as political economy, climate change, gender, international security, international development, foreign policy, and International Relations theory.
The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong portfolio of research and teaching, help advance the School's undergraduate and graduate curriculum in International Relations, pursue funded research projects, contribute to the growth and development of one or more of our research centres, and support our vibrant community of PGR research students.
