About the roleThe Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) to provide coordination and input to the teaching of subjects including a clear focus on Engineering Mathematics and other areas across our Mechanical Engineering degree programmes.
You will join a team of lecturers delivering a suite of units across our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught degrees delivering content primarily to students studying degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
Our teaching is delivered face-to-face, supported by some online content. We are looking for applicants with the expertise and flexibility to teach a broad range of topics in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mathematics to Undergraduate students.
You will be expected to design and deliver high quality teaching of undergraduate and/or taught postgraduate modules which is informed by significant experience gained via practice, research/study and teaching experience, to include:
This role is advertised on a fixed term basis for a period of 24 months with an expected start date of 1st August 2024 or soon after, ready to teach from 30 September 2024.
