Job Reference: 741287 About The role: As a Teaching Academic Lecturer in the Academic Capability Development team in the Faculty of Business and Law, your role will involve designing and implementing innovative resources and programs to enhance academic skills development for undergraduate and postgraduate students. As part of a small team of teaching academics, you will play a key role in the Faculty's initiatives to enhance academic English language proficiency of our undergraduate and postgraduate students. Additionally, you will develop resources and programs that strengthen the integration of assessment, feedback, and academic integrity skills. You will work closely with discipline academics to design curriculum and assessments to improve students' academic skills development in their courses. By leveraging your understanding of pedagogical theory, contemporary best practices, and recent experiences, you will analyse, propose solutions for, and evaluate complex challenges in learning and teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
There may be a requirement to teach after hours as some of our teaching occurs in the evenings, and this is when MBA and other PG courses are taught.
