About the position

  • Design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality teaching experiences across various formats.
  • Lead innovative curriculum development and reform in Exercise Physiology.
  • Engage in high-impact research, producing significant publications and securing research funding.
  • Supervise and mentor Honours, Masters, and PhD students, fostering their academic and professional growth.
  • Establish and nurture industry networks to support program delivery and enhance student Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences.
  • Contribute to the leadership and administrative functions within the department, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
  • Skills and Experience

  • PhD in a relevant discipline, with accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist strongly preferred.
  • Proven excellence in curriculum development and teaching.
  • Strong research record with evidence of quality and impact, particularly in Sport and Exercise Science.
  • Experience in supervising higher degree research students.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching and research methodologies.
