The School is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced colleague with a background in health and social care to support teaching and learning on a variety of programmes in the Department of Health and Well-being. The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team of academics and practitioners with expertise in nursing, public health, mental health, children and young people's well-being, as well as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutritional therapy, paramedics, diagnostic radiography and dietetics all who play key roles in the delivery and on-going development of courses across the School. All staff across the school, work as an inter-professional team, teaching collaboratively across shared and profession specific modules at all academic levels and you will be expected to share this philosophy.

By providing expert knowledge, the post holder will be expected to teach and lead agreed modules across the Department and the School, teaching from level 0 to level 7; assess students, supervise undergraduate and post graduate research studies, and engage in curriculum development. The main responsibilities for the post will include leading and teaching on the Foundation Year Healthcare with an opportunity to support course leadership.
